  On the second day of my one week stay, the cleaning staff took ALL of my private belongings and stuffed them loosely into my suitcase (including documents, my toothbrush not put in its box, the shampoo bottle still wet, shirts that I had put on hangers to avoid crumpling, an OPENED box of cookies etc.) and put the suitcase upright beside the door, so all things got even more messy inside the suitcase, cookie crumbs all over my clothes... I complained at the reception about this incident and they told me that they somehow forgot to check me in correctly, so that the room seemed empty to them and couldn't find out who was staying in the room because I was never there when they knocked the door. Of course such a mistake can happen. But I am shocked how this was handled. First: I was there at the morning when the cleaning staff knocked the door and I told her to come back later please. Second: There was no attempt to contact me, knocking the door at different times would have been an easy way to find out that I am staying in that room. Third: Just jamming all my personal belongings into the suitcase like that and creating a mess is just incredible. Fourth: Other than an apology by the receptionist, I got no compensation for the time I spent cleaning my clothes again, tidying all the stuff from my suitcase, and for the time I wasted writing this review. EDIT: After contacting the reception twice, I gave up on getting a complete and reasonable explaination for the incident. Probably there is just no real explaination for this, it just happened. So yes, everything is settled now. But this doesn't mean that I was satisfied with the outcome. It is still a very bad experience overall. After the "clean up" of my room, I'd have expected the hotel to take the initiative, reach out to me, apologize, explain what happened, why it happened and how they fixed the problem to make sure it won't happen again. Instead, the hotel stayed completely passive. There is no discussion required anymore and I think there is nothing strange about giving a bad rating or posting an Instagram photo after making this kind of experience. The guest should be able to trust the hotel and be sure that his/her belongings are treated with greatest care. I just shared my story to inform people that in this hotel, my things were absolutely not treated in in this way and that the aftermath was disappointing as well.

  Väldigt prisvärt. Bra frukost men lite sen för mig. Dom öppnar 6.30 på vardagarna. Lite dåligt utbud på mat i baren.

  Didn't stay, visited the bar for a couple beers and chicken wings. Good and glad they had the chili sauce on the side. Calm and neutral atmosphere.

  Lovely place. Loved their service. Just be sure that they don't book the rooms at the reception for last minute customers. Only online booking and they deal with only card payments. No cash. I loved my stay, rooms are cosy and beautiful.
