::If you want a good selection of vegetarian dishes this is your best choice. I tried the aubergine in beer sauce, the aubergine was perfectly cooked and the sauce gave it the special touch, the serving size is generous, the rice is abundant as well. All in all, you get a lot of food for the price the charge you. The very best of the place is the attention, really costumer minded and they really take great effort in delivering the best service possible, will definitely ditch the other Chinese places in Uppsala in favour of this one.

::My family orders takeaway and visits Golden China on regular basis, once or twice a week, we are pretty much the regulars. Even my kid loves their food and asks to eat there. Lunch buffet is just slightly better than what other restaurants serve but a la carte menu is a lot better than in all other Chinese restaurants in town. I bring my homesick Chinese friends there, they all rated this restaurant's food as the best Uppsala has to offer. If you want any more authentic than this, you will have to travel to China. The restaurant's interior looks a little shabby but don't judge the book by its covers is all I can say. The food never disappointed, it has had the same good quality and taste over the past six years since I discovered it. By far they have the best vegetarian and vegan dishes.

::unfortunately, when people say "authentic", they must mean by swedish standards. how can you have authentic chinese dishes that don't use chinese vegetable??? the foid was avtually, okay, but i wad completely let down after the overhyped reviews.

::People who give this place low ratings don't get what it is about. This is an outwardly pretty drab looking restaurant that happens to serve some of the best food in town. Not just the best Chinese food, but The best food, period. Large servings of impeccably cooked original Chinese food. The staff is hurried and stressed, when you ask for a glass of wine you only get the choice of red or white, but they serve Chinese beer and drinks. If you are looking for a culinary experience and don't care about service, this place will fit your needs.

::Very authentic, good quality. Loved the hotpot. My Chinese girlfriend said this is amongst the best Chinese restaurants in Sweden. Strongly recommend!
