::Try to avoid this bank. I had no other choice and thats why forced to open an account. Remember every individual in this bank will tell you different informations about a same subject matter. So all depends on your luck which banker you got. I was unlucky and had different employees in all occasions and I suffered a lot.

::Skip this bank unless you're a foreigner who is planning to stay in Uppsala for a long time. After waiting god knows how long to get your Swedish ID card, now get ready to wait even more for a bank account! First, they will review your application, and then send you a letter after that. This took 2-3 weeks. Then you receive a letter, "the review is completed, please make an appointment at our bank!" Great! Except the next available appointment is 6 weeks away! I've just agreed for the appointment 6 weeks later, but at this point I'm just thinking of taking whichever bank that will allow me to have a brand new bank account opened within a week.
