  There are things you can't rate with stars. Things like Kerstin smile and her unique sweetness, things like the feeling of being at home so far from home. When I arrived in Kiruna it was a Sunday, the air was -20 and everything was closed. No one was walking by the streets and I had really little money, so when I saw her gorgeus and cozy santa-like hostel, it almost seemed a mirage. She opened the door with a big smile and let me in, before even asking anything. If this isnt enough to let you understand the value of this place, I'll be objective: great cost/value, great position (near to all the best places where you can wait for northern lights and to the best supermarkets), clean, warm rooms, private shower and a common kitchen where you can get for free other's leftovers. What else to say? Thank you.

  Very nice owner of the home and nice place to stay at. Around 250sek per night per person. Around 5-10 min walk to ICA nära (smaller supermarket) and 10-15 min walk to COOP Konsum (larger supermarket). Bring your own bedsheets or rent them.

  The landlady of the hostel is very kind and helpful person! Combining it with a wooden house, the atmosphere inside is very cozy and homy. The kitchen and living room were very nice and good equipped, the bathroom was quite small.
