  Impressive outside but closed for renovations from the looks of it! Opens again December 2018 Came just to Malmø to see inside. Oh well.

  Beautiful outside but very disappointed to say it is currently closed for renovations. No info to say when it will open again.

  St. Peter's Church is a Lutheran church located in the center of the city of Malmo, Belongs to the Diocese of Lund of the Church of Sweden. This church was inaugurated in the fourteenth century, having initially been built as a basilica with three naves in Gothic style. This Christian temple was consecrated to St. Peter and St. Paul.

  i admired it from the outside only :) The surround area looks a bit too public and it’s closer to the roads.. might be noisy?

  Don't miss this 800 year old continuously operating church in the heart of old Malmo. Stark white yet beautiful interior. High vaulted ceiling. Huge ornate altar, beautiful pulpit - out of place in this Reformation setting. Ask the attendant for the story on how the Reformation changed this church and to explain the intricately decorated chapel. There's so much history all in one church. And it's situated in the beautiful old town just of the town square. About a quarter mile from the central train station.
