  Opening a bank account for me and my wife having all necessary documents in hand was a breeze. All staff members we interacted with were extremely kind and helpful. Special thanks to the guy who handled our request, which was extremely patient in explaining all the process steps and how the BankID and homebanking worked.

  Det är mycket bra att man har två bankomater där inne som man även kan använda för insättningar.När de väl fungerar. Tyvärr tar det för det mesta allt för lång tid om man behöver använda sig av kassorna. Man har förklarat det med att man är en utbildningsbankkontor och utbildar ny personal hela tiden samt att de inte bara har ksssaärenden utan även övriga bankärenden.

  Kom innanför dörrarna och en anställd frågade mig vad jag behövde hjälp med. Fick löst mitt ärende på någon minut, otroligt nöjd med SEB som bank! Både den personliga servicen på plats men även SEB's fantastiska kundtjänst över telefon och internet.

  I've been a customer with SEB for over 15 years, and have had a very mixed experience. Initially they were friendly and helpful, and their security systems for online banking were great and ahead of their time. However, over the years they have failed to keep up with the times. Opening hours are poor, they charge for the privilege of having a debit card and payment services on your account, and their online secure messaging service has the usual feeling of a support service that can only follow a basic script. Most recently, I tried to apply for a mortgage with SEB. Though my case was very slightly complex in that I was in the process of moving back to Sweden after a period of living abroad, the confusion and conflicting information I was presented with was astonishingly out of proportion. After having been sent around to several different departments - in fact, back and forth between the same two departments a couple of times - having been assigned a case handler, that handler promptly went on holiday without any prior notification. The replacement case handler which I managed to get assigned was so unclear with regards to lending criteria that I kept having to ask for clarifications - resulting in her acting in an unprofessional and frankly rude manner, and in her final email making statements such as "for the last time". Needless to say, I'm in the process of selecting a new bank. They get two stars purely because 15 years ago, SEB were a good bank, and this review reflects my entire experience as their customer.
