  Beautifully maintained, moated castle in the lovely town of Orebro. A temporary theatre was set up in a courtyard when we visited and the production was in rehearsal.

  As usual in Sweden, you have to pay to visit everything! Yet, once you paid, you have access to some comedian, presenting the place! When you go to the tourist shop, be sure to go to the last floor, the model of the castle over the past 5 centuries are really interesting (AND IT'S FREE)!

  Lovely lovely town. Picturesque at so many levels. Most helpful tourist info bureau too.

  It’s a very small castle and is being used for events by a local hotel. The only way to make your visit worthwhile would be to take one of their guided tours (available in both English and Swedish). It’s a 60 min tour with great content and presentation. Some parts of the castle (mainly the dungeon) can be viewed only as part of the tour.
