  I had a nice stay at CarlstadCity Hostel. The hostel is well located near bus station and restaurants. The room was larger than I expected. The staff was very friendly.

  Just stayd one night because no train went back home to my small town at that time. Stay was good I come after check-in. Thay fix me up with some password to enter the building and get my key was really easy. Nice small room, tv, toilet and a shower breakfast.

  It is a hostel, not a hotel. Staffs only part-time. Beds are ok, but only single beds.

  It's clean and I got a pretty big room. It feels more like a cheap hotel than a hostel. You get your own shower and toilet, but it's so cramped I'd rather have a bigger shared bathroom like in most hostels I've been to. Reception open till 8, but they're transparent about that. It says so on their website. The doors open with a codelock so after you're done with the reception you can enter anytime you want. You don't get sheets included in the price which is a bit misleading. The reception talks perfect english and is very nice.

  I do not know what the previous reviews are about. I was just there, it is spotlessly clean, the receptionist speaks a million languages and is super friendly and helpful. For this price it is actually very surprising.
