  Fresh! Really nice and well tasting bowls! The food itself was well prepared and well seasoned. The service was pleasent and swift. A bit warm inside but nothing we couldn't handle. (Note that on the day of our visit it was really hot weather) They do offer a small seating area outside, but due to the permit regarding alcoholic beverages they are not permitted to serve alcohol outside, and we had a beer together with our bowls. Plus for good knowledge of gluten and offering gluten free beer! Good if you're a celiac!

  This instantly became one of my favourite places ever. The menu is not that big, but man! Everything is a treat! The ingredients are chosen meticulously, the seasoning is perfect, the sauces are delicious... Everything is well thought, unique, and made with love! The bowls are healthy, but still filling, tasty and diverse, and the combinations are unique, Japanese/Korean inspired with mix of many other influences... Like the chill outside seating, nothing looks very sophisticated or uptight, it's just relaxed, thoughtful good food! What's not to love in that place?

  With 17 years experience in restaurant and hospitality business and spent the last 6 years dealing with Japanese cuisine, I give myself a right to be able to spot a good service and certainly spot a good food. In restaurant business nothing can bring a guest back unless we give them a “wow” moment, restaurant people know exactly what I’m talking about. Bōru Bowl has given me that moment. You get your food served by the chef who made it himself. This is not a “Poké bowl” and yet it is Japanese food with a twist. If you look for a good, healthy, quick food with a passion from a chef, I recommend Bōru Bowl Bar. I wish you guys good luck and Malmö certainly need your concept.

  Fantastic quality of food. It was a true joy to eat at a place where the owners and chef’s passion, as well as respect for the art of Asian cooking, so obviously shines through in their dishes. This place is a true gem in Malmö and an absolute must for everyone to try!
