  I have stayed at the Svava three times, and will stay there again when I’m in Uppsala. It’s an easy hotel to stay in with comfortable rooms, a great breakfast, and perfect location.

  Convenient to the Central Station, this hotel is different from many other hotels: some of those are charming, some not. The rooms are tidy and honestly just what you need for a comfortable stay, and no more. The bathrooms are spotless. There is air conditioning in every guest room, but note that some guest rooms have windows facing an interior courtyard which do not open. Want a super-quiet room? Even room numbers overlook a quiet interior courtyard. Want an occasional open window to the outside? Only odd-numbered rooms, facing outside the building, can be opened. Of course, in the winter this doesn't matter! Beds are comfortable, but narrower in size than you might be used to. Two beds are placed side by side to make up any mattress larger than a twin. This is actually common in EU hotels, and something to expect when going to properties in the smaller more interesting places like this one. A quaint, comfortable sauna. You inform the front desk of when you'd like to use it, and they'll fire it up well before so it's hot. You get one of the keys from the front desk, and let yourself in and out of the sauna. In the classic layout (changing room, showers, the sauna itself, and a comfortable lounge area to cool off). Front desk staff friendly and capable.

  Alltid mycket trevlig personal. Rummen är mycket bra. Internet är skapligt. Frukost är mycket bra fräscha grönsaker och pålägg. Äggröran smakar mumma, baconet är stekt som jag vill ha det. Starkt och gott kaffe

  Very nice and modern standard of both room and bathroom. Clean and neat. Great breakfast buffet. Sauna in the basement but haven't tried it out. The only downside is the beds. Comfortable, but tiny. It's about two fists wider than across my shoulders so turning around is pretty annoying, having to shift just to turn around. Being accustomed to a 120cm wide bed at home it's pretty terrible. Feel like I'm gonna fall off just turning to my side from my back. Aside from that very nice hotel with a garage in the basement.

  nice hotel. very clean, comfortable beds, good and diverse breakfast. I recommended it.
