The most gorgeous botanical garden! The outside gardens are free and so fun to wander. I really enjoyed the inside orangery and there’s a separate garden of massive lily pads. Very very beautiful and unique, highly recommended. 100 sek entrance fee.

Botanical garden belonging to the University of Stockholm. Outdoor area free and you can see plants from around the planet. Best in summertime. Indoor you find plants from different climate zones but have to pay 80 kronor for the main entrance and 20 extra for the smaller building. Resturant but check when its open.

You arrive in a lovely wild meadow and then come across the excellent collection of buildings that make up the botanical gardens. It's worth paying to go in so you can see the various sections including a palm house and country themed sections (Australia, California etc.). Worth a trip out of Stockholm on the metro to spend a morning or day wandering around

Lovely location with nice surroundings, perfect for a stroll or picnic. Food was good, not extraordinary but good. There are daily menus so I recommend checking on their website if you’re a picky eater. We were having lunch with a big group of people (18 ppl) and were seated inside the “green house” which got quite warm. The open windows and open ceiling unfortunately didn’t really help. You can’t book tables for their outside terrace upfront, tables can only be booked to sit in the glasshouse. The surroundings definitely make this place worth the visit, having a picnic or just sitting in their park.
